Founded in 2017, Wetumpka FFA Alumni Chapter is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of Elmore County FFA students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

R. O. MEEK AWARD

The R. O. Meek Award was established in 2016. Named after the first recorded agriculture teacher at Wetumpka's Fifth District Agriculture School, this award honors a student who has shown true dedication to the Wetumpka Agricultural Program. This student has gone above and beyond and strives to promote and advocate for agriculture.

JOE BROWN STAR LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Joe Brown Award was established in 2023. Named after one of the longest career agriculture teachers at Wetumpka High School, this award honors an officer who has shown true leadership to the Wetumpka Agricultural Program. This student has gone above and beyond and strives to promote and advocate for agriculture.

CHARLES TEW OVERALL FFA MEMBER AWARD

The Charles Tew Award was established in 2023. Named after one of the longest career agriculture teachers at Wetumpka High School, this award honors a student who has excelled as a member to the Wetumpka Agricultural Program. This student has gone above and beyond and strives to promote and advocate for agriculture.

RODEO

Established in 2018, Wetumpka FFA Alumni Championship Rodeo is an annual event supporting the Wetumpka FFA Chapter. The rodeo has grown to be the golden standard for small town outdoor rodeos, and is known as "The Best Two Days in Wetumpka".
